Arthur Rackham in Sussex

Artist Emma Martin will give an overview of her recent project in which she collaborated with the Sussex Centre for Folklore, Fairy Tales and Fantasy and the National Trust to produce an exhibition of contemporary works in response to the work of Arthur Rackham. The lecture will cover a brief overview of Rackham’s life and work in Sussex, his process, and Emma’s own research and processes that culminated in the production of a series of Illustrations and Fine Art Paintings that are currently on display at Bateman’s in East Sussex.
