ARUNDEL MUSEUM More than a museum

Walking through History

Our Original and Official Guided Town Walks

Arundel Museum has over 20 years’ experience of conducting historic-based walks around this beautiful town. Each walk is led by one of our friendly and knowledgeable guides who will be happy to answer questions.

We are offering a twice-daily programme of our popular 'Arundel Past and Present' guided walks during the Arundel Festival, from Sunday 20 - Monday 28 August 2017 at 11.00am and 2.00pm each day.

Duration approx. 90 minutes, tickets £4 per person from the Museum front desk.

Group Walks

We are able to provide tailored guided walks for groups both large and small (minimum of five people) which are ideal for history societies, clubs, associations, schools, colleges, universities, family groups, coach tours, day trips, etc.  We offer a choice of walks from our very popular ‘Arundel Past and Present’ walk, which is a general introduction to the town and its history, to more specific topics, such as the ‘The Arundel Castle Story’ walk.

When you book with us, we listen carefully and can tailor a walk to suit your requirements. For example, Arundel has a number of hills but, if this is a concern, we can easily arrange an alternative flat route.

Currently, walks are available for groups on the following topics:

·         Arundel Past and Present (an introduction)
·         The Port of Arundel
·         The Arundel Castle Story
·         Arundel Industrial
·         Bridge to Bridge Walk (all on level ground)
