Our team of friendly volunteers play a crucial role in the visitor experience at Arundel Museum. We are a very active organisation and would be delighted to hear from you if you would like to know more about our volunteering opportunities.
You will be in the Museum to meet and greet visitors and to answer any questions they may have on our exhibits.
If you have experience working with children and are DBS checked, then our Education Group will be happy to welcome you, perhaps visiting schools or assisting with students visiting our Museum.
FRONT OF HOUSE
You will be asked to meet and greet visitors to the Museum and take money for admissions and sales in our shop using our touch screen, user-friendly till.
Our Oral History Team need interviewers and transcribers. If you have good typing skills or would like to interview people about their lives in Arundel, then this may suit you.
Help out with Arundel Museum's hugely successful historic walks. After instruction, you may even wish to lead a walk yourself.
Join our team of volunteers guided by our Curator to National Museum standards. Working behind the scenes to help maintain the Museum and its collections. Skills are gained in conservation, research, photography together with the preparation of occasional topical exhibition displays and education projects.
